Marlies Dekkers — Lingerie branding with a touch of class

A Dutch designer with a reputation for inventive, exquisitely made lingerie, Marlies Dekkers has gained an international recognition; her lingerie is now available in over 500 outlets across Europe. When Marlies Dekkers founded her label, she invited Studio Dumbar to create the visual identity. We subsequently developed the label across everything from advertising and marketing materials to online media, packaging and more.

With its lower case, slab serif logotype, the new identity positions Marlies Dekkers as an irrefutably modern brand. The graphic palette reflects her close attention to detail, setting exuding excitement, seduction and curiosity whilst avoiding crude cliché. A key driver for the company and its new identity is a sumptuous hardback book produced by Studio Dumbar to define the brand’s DNA, with copy inspired by Dekkers’ philosophy, sensuous photography and restrained yet elegant typography.
