Inholland — Offering perspective for a brighter future
Inholland University of Applied Science is an ambitious institute based in western Holland and Suriname, South America. Appointed to redesign the university’s identity, Studio Dumbar effectively sent a design team ‘back to school’, to experience life as an Inholland student.
We concluded that students aren’t necessarily interested in the university’s structure, but they are interested in their course and the profession that awaits them upon graduation. The identity follows this point of view, creating a strong, visible profile for Inholland, while communicating it’s role as a facilitator. To launch the identity we produced a stop motion animation. Accessible, warm and creative, the film presents a large organisation on a human scale, with thoughts, questions and a shifting landscape supporting the ‘changing perspectives’ theme.
